Re-connect with your true self investigating your habits and creating healthier ones.
We will head start the program with 10 days of self-care in a wellness challenge where we look into the health of our mind.
Next you will be motivated to add your own exercise to the mix in order to move your body fluids and create healthy routines.
The 21 day food part will tackle food cravings, understand better the body’s signals of hunger and portion size while eating healthy and clean foods.
This Balance Booster will lead to a more profound self-knowledge of you, your health, your goals and how to deal with setbacks and stay on the path.
The program is online and you will have 1 year access to all materials.
20/09-30/09: Balance Your Mind
Head start with a 10 day Wellness Challenges to shift your mindset and get ready for this journey. I will integrate wellness, kindness, gratefulness during these 10 days.
01/10-10/10: Balance Your Exercise
Let’s look at your current exercise routines. Are they serving your health? Are you exercising to eat, for joy or to tick a box. We will explore and I will challenge you to find a routine that suits your daily lifestyle.
11/10-31/10: Balance Your Food
It’s time to tackle your food. Now that your body and mind is in check, you are ready to reset 21 days with eating clean and whole foods. You will receive a starter meal plan, a complete binder with recipe ideas and options for breakfast, lunch and diner, all with easy to find ingredients and to be made in 30 minutes or less.
The handouts will also help you making the right choices when eating out although the best results are achieved when preparing your own food.
We will refrain from processed food, refined sugar and alcohol, gluten and dairy for these 21 days. Coffee is allowed in moderation (max 1 a day).

WHAT DOES THE BALANCE BOOSTER REQUIRE?
A positive mind-set, a “can do” mentality and seeing opportunities instead of obstacles.
WHAT FOOD WILL I BE EATING AND LEAVING OUT?
The Balance Booster is a program with real and clean whole food/meals. This means, you won’t be juicing, nor you won’t feel like on a diet. You will focus on food as close to what nature provides (lots of fruit, vegetables, protein and some whole grains).
You will mainly exclude refined sugar, refined carbohydrates, alcohol, processed food, dairy and coffee (for coffee lovers, there’s specific guidance so you won’t miss out completely).
In the beginning of the program you will receive a full handout with all the allowed and not allowed foods.
DO I NEED TO COOK EVERY DAY?
It’s recommended, recipes are simple. Dinner meals are big enough to also use for lunch the day after, and once a week you have a bigger cook-up so you can use the same meals several times. Count on average 30-40 minutes of cooking per day. The best results are achieved when cooking all of the meals in the 21-days plan.
If you don’t like to cook the entire 21 days, there’s a guidance of how to pick healthy food when eating out. Out of my experience, it’s a bit harder as there are more temptations, less vegetables, more obstacles, but it’s possible if you are up for it.
WHAT DO I NEED IN MY KITCHEN?
You will need a kitchen with an oven, blender and basic cooking equipment, nothing fancy!
ARE THESE MEALS SUITED FOR FAMILIES?
Yes, but some days you might need to adjust the menu a little bit depending on your family’s needs.
For example, you can add additional protein or carbs; there is no need to create two completely different meals.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT MEALPLANS AVAILABLE?
The standard meal plan is a combination of plant based and animal based meals. There are vegetarian/vegan swaps mentioned and additional recipes provided for vegan/vegetarians. Everyone gets all the recipes.
ARE THE INGREDIENTS EASY TO FIND?
Yes (even if you live in Shanghai), feel free to ask questions about ingredients and possible swaps.
DO I NEED TO JOIN A GYM FOR THE WORKOUTS?
No;
I will encourage you to be physically active every day. We look into your current habits and routines and talk about different styles of being physically.
I AM NEW TO MINDFULNESS, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
We will integrate mindfulness and practicing gratitude by starting with a 10 day wellness challenge, allowing yourself to recognise your thoughts and emotions. It’s a gentle way of reconnecting with ourselves. You can do a minimum of 5 minutes or more if you are up for it.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES THE BALANCE BOOSTER REQUIRE?
Mindfulness is a minimum of 5 minutes, up to 30 minutes if you are up for it (= as from the start)
Exercise is a minimum of 10 minutes, more of you want to (= as from day 10)
The food part requires 30-40mins of cooking every day (= as from day 20)
HOW WILL I WATCH THE ONLINE CLASSES
You will be prompted to create an account on my platform “Better” and you will be granted access once payment is finalised.
