WHAT DOES THE BALANCE BOOSTER REQUIRE?

The right mind-set, a “can do” mentality and seeing opportunities instead of obstacles.

WHAT FOOD WILL I BE EATING AND LEAVING OUT?

The Balance Booster is a program with real food/meals. This means, you won’t be juicing, nor you won’t feel like on a diet. You will focus on food as close to what nature provides (lots of fruit, vegetables, protein and some whole grains). You will mainly exclude refined sugar, refined carbohydrates, alcohol, processed food, dairy and coffee (for coffee lovers, there’s specific guidance so you won’t have quit cold turkey on day 1). In the beginning of the program you will receive a full handout with all the allowed and not allowed foods. 

DO I NEED TO COOK EVERY DAY?

Yes, that’s recommended, recipes are simple – no experience required. Dinner meals are big enough to also use for lunch the day after, and once a week you have a bigger cook-up so you can use the same meals several times. Count on average 40 minutes of cooking per day. The best results are achieved when cooking all of the meals in the 21-days plan.

WHAT DO I NEED IN MY KITCHEN?

You will need a kitchen with an oven, blender and basic cooking equipment, nothing fancy!

ARE THESE MEALS SUITED FOR FAMILIES?

Yes, but some days you might need to adjust the menu a little bit depending on your family’s needs. For example, you can add additional protein or carbs; there is no need to create two completely different meals.

ARE THERE DIFFERENT MEALPLANS AVAILABLE?

The standard meal plan is a combination of plant based and animal based meals. This plan is the one I recommend if you are not vegetarian/vegan. It also works best for families. There is also is a vegan meal plan available (not recommended when you are new to vegetarian/vegan meals).

WILL I FIND THE INGREDIENTS IN SHANGHAI?

You will receive weekly meal plans and a QR code to a dedicated page on Epermarket where you can shop for Balance Booster ingredients.

DO I NEED TO JOIN A GYM FOR THE WORKOUTS?

We will ask you to move every day, no gym needed, just your own body weight will do. Our coach Peter Petero will guide you with his online program. It’s about 20 minutes of physical exercise everyday. All exercises can be done at home with a yoga mat. If you are currently already working out, you will be encouraged to continue with your routines while on the Balance Booster and do the Balance Booster workouts on top.

I AM NEW TO MINDFULNESS, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Our Mindfulness Coach Morana will guide you trough the program. Take time to watch the mindfulness movies, do her exercises and check-in every day in the WeChat group, about 10 minutes each day.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES THE BALANCE BOOSTER REQUIRE?

The 21-day Balance Booster requires 1 HOUR of your DAY. In this hour you will have finished all of your cooking (40mins), exercise (20mins) and mindfulness (10mins) ! So it is really only a short time out of your entire day!

I AM NOT ABLE TO COME TO THE CLASSES IN JINQIAO

In this case, no worries as the full program is available through an online learning center, daily emails + a WeChat group. The online learning center has all the information needed except you will miss out on the group energy from other fellow Balance Boosters. Therefore with the online program I recommend joining with a friend so you can encourage each other.

HOW WILL I WATCH THE ONLINE CLASSES
